About Us

Both myself and Janine hold Accredited Health and Hygiene Certificates not just the basic ones everybody has and our company is registered with Pendle Environmental Health and has been recently visited with a excellent report and no action points. We are both professionally qualified in both cake decoration and sugar flower Making which we both passed with Distinctions 94 & 95% passes. (Jan got 95%!!)

Joe And Janine

I have been a Chef for over 20 years and for the most part a Pastry Chef. During which time I have passed many catering qualifications, won various medals at salon culiniere competitions including 3 Gold's, 2 Silvers and a Bronze mostly for Pastry work.

I have also been a Head Chef for 10 years gaining two AA rosettes for two different hotels in the Lakes as well as an RAC restaurant award and a Lancashire Life Hotel of the year award along with many other awards.

I have also been responsible for teaching as a part time tutor at Kendal College my Class's included Advanced Pastry and level 3 courses. During my time at the college I took advantage of courses available to me which is when I took my sugar flowers course. I now also teach at Nelson and Colne College as well as make cakes.
