I
have been a chef for over 18 years and for the most part a Pastry Chef.
During which Time I have Passed many catering qualifications, won various
medals at salon culiniere competitions including 3 Gold's, 2 Silvers and
a Bronze mostly for Pastry work.
I have also been a head chef for 10
years gaining two AA rosettes for two different hotels in the Lakes as
well as a Rac Restaurant Award and a Lancashire Life Hotel of the year
award along with many other awards.
I
have also been responsible for teaching as a part time tutor a Kendal
College my Class's included Advanced Pastry and level 3 courses. During
my time at the college I took advantage of courses available to me which
is when I took my sugar flowers Course.
Janine
has 16 years experience in the catering trade again mostly as a pastry
chef.
She
worked for nearly 10 years at the very highly acclaimed Gilpin Lodge hotel
in the lakes as Pastry chef and Second Chef, During her time there the
hotel achieved 3 AA rosettes Rac blue Ribbon and most recently a Michelin
Star!! along with many other awards.
Janine
only took part in two competitions but won awards on both occasions beating
myself to gold in one!!!
Maybe
not a TV chef you have heard of but Janine did make two appearances on
ITV's Spoon with a view .
Jan
again is a very highly qualified Pastry Chef holding similar if not higher
qualifications to myself.
